The Shubunkin

The Shubunkin is a Japanese bred variant of the goldfish, is easy to keep and an ideal pond fish. The Shubunkin are bicoloured from birth (mostly red and a shimmering blue) and have, unlike the goldfish, a remarkable tail. For tips and hints on keeping Shubunkin, please see “goldfish“.
