Popular pond plants 4/8:

The marsh marigold (kingcup)

The marsh marigold blossoms early in the year and brings the first golden yellow spots of colour to your garden pond! The marsh marigold is widely spread throughout Central and Northern Europe and also thrives in higher regions. It prefers a heavy, clay soil but is very undemanding.
