The pickerel weed

The pickerel weed originally comes from North America and is one of few plants that has blue flowers.
Pickerel weed is suitable as a decorative plant for the edge of the pond and, whether you plant it as a single plant or in groups, it will be a beautiful addition to your pond. Unfortunately the pickerel weed is only part hardy so cover it with fir branches or similar to protect the plant through the winter.
