The Purple loosestrife

The purple loosestrife is suitable for planting at the edge of the pond and, although it thrives best in the bog zone, it can also survive temporary flooding. The long, brilliantly coloured purple flower heads are a particularly eye catching. Purple loosestrife is a maintenance free, native plant and does not have high requirements regarding the environment.
